I was contacted by a 'net-faring representative of one of the members of Blumpy, a band already in existance that has been using the name for awhile. I don't yet know about their style or location, but I'm in the process of getting more info.
I also, more recently, received the following email from Michael Tuller:
"Blumpy is also the name of a music production company out in CA. As a matter of fact, I own the company."
